Okay, so we are going to Seoul this Saturday. We want to see the World Ceramics Biennial Exhibition. It is in Icheon, I think. Has anyone been to the exhibition? How was it? Can you provide directions, please? At what station do we exit, what direction do we go, etc. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks much, K. |

Good point. An hour or so out of East Seoul or the Express Bus Terminal. |

It's pretty easy to get to. Just take an express bus to Icheon from express bus terminal in Seoul (costs 3800 or 4200 won). It takes about an hour. Once you get to the terminal just hop in a taxi go to Seolbong Park (that's where the festival is held)....or you could walk but that's a little more confusing and a little far. My students say there's a shuttle bus, but I don't know where exactly you'd catch it.
Make sure to visit my high school's display booth! It's Korea Ceramic Arts High School and don't let the students pretend they don't speak English |
