Sisters give birth at 12, 14, 16

Natasha, Jemma and Jade Williams with children Amani, T-Jay and Lita
Three schoolgirl sisters have given birth aged 12, 14 and 16.
The Williams sisters, who live with their mother in a council house in Derby, feature in a BBC3 documentary called Desperate Midwives.

Natasha, the oldest, Jade and Jemma, the youngest, are reported to receive £600 a week in benefits.

Their mother Julie Atkins, 38, who said the girls were too young and had ruined their lives, blamed schools for providing poor quality sex education.

I like how she blamed the schools. I mean, I agree that sex ed should be upped these days, but if you've got three teens who, judging from the babies, all got knocked up at around the same time, maybe a sex talk at home was in order.

12?!?!?! That's criminal. The mother was probably too embarassed to have the talk at the time, but it's a little late now.

This is what is so infuriating....parents want the schools to basically raise and teach "morals" to their kids, while they sit on their fat a** and watch TV. The mother is probably a wh*re too, and the girls probably learned it from her. I know in the States this is a huge problem...parents want the schools to take on full-time responsibility raising their kids because they are a bunch of sadsacks who can't/don't want to raise kids.
Obviously the mom did a slipshod job of raising them...I mean, she probably didn't regulate their hours out....my God, a 12-year-old pregnant.? Someone needs to b*tchslap the mom.
I mean sometimes teen pregnancies happen, even to the teens of really good parents. But three teen girls pregnant at the same time, and they have the same mom? Mom sounds like a complete loser to me.

Why is it the schools responsibility to teach sex ed?

I'm all for schools teaching sex ed, but in my opinion kids should have a decent enough background from their parents before they even get there.

Unbelievable. 12 is just don't right strange. I hadn't even figured out what to do with it when I was 12.

Mind you. I still haven't.

Maybe the schools were teaching sex ed and they just did better with the 'hands on' portion. Must be really good practical exercises...

Cheesh, you guys, there are screwed up people everywhere.

Sure, there is something really amiss here, but to call a clearly tragically messed up family "whores" is unbelievable.

To dismiss this problem the way some of you do is as mindless as letting it happen in the first place. Maybe that is why it hits a nerve?

fucking bitch blame the fucking state bitch you old chav fucking slag.

Typical of these fucking people, blaming the schools for their own failures as parents. The state ought to do those babies a favour and take them away and put them up for adoption as quickly as possible. Hopefully that might save us all a few burglaries and car-thefts in about 11-12 years time.

Bunch of chav slags.

It's way past time. A whole bunch cheaper for everyone too.

Free pill and no more state benefits for these people.
