				| Do you freakin believe it?!?!?! LIVERPOOL!! cha cha cha LIVERPOOL!!! cha cha cha

 Here's a song about a football team
The greatest team you've ever seen
A team that play total Football
They've won the league, Europe and all.

 A Liverbird upon my chest
We are the men, of Shankly's best
A team that plays the Liverpool way
And wins the championship in May

With Kenny Dalglish on the ball
He was the greatest of them all
And Ian Rush, four goals or two
 Left Evertonians feeling blue

				| What a great game..
I'll admit being distraught at 3-0.. I even had people calling me from back home to rub it in....

I almost, ALMOST didnt bother watching the second half.

Of course, my sleep pattern is all messed up now, but hey, well worth it!

				| When you walk through a storm Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
 Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark

 Walk on through the wind
 Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
 Walk on, walk on
 With hope in your heart
 And you'll never walk alone
 You'll never walk alone

 by the way, it reads
'No small toffees for feast tonight
 Kopites party with Turkish delight
 Jose, Sir Alex... London press
 All choking on sweet success
Money, not love, is your drive
But tell us... Can you count to five?'

and i'm not even a scouser

				| I'm stunned after that comeback and penalty shoot-out.
That's Liverpools fifth win so the trophy now stays at Anfield. Here's hoping it revives their league form.

It's been too long but I'm happy!!!!

				| unblievable, even more drama than Man Utd's win a few years ago. Keeping the trophy gives koppites bragging rights in England for the next, what, 10 years?
Not a Liverpool fan so I didn't want to stay up that late to watch it, tried to avoid seeing the result so I could watch it 'as live' on the box tonight- ah well, the best laid plans etc.

				| Couldn't watch it b/c no ESPN, but first thing after rolling out of bed this morning was to turn on the puter to check this out. Flipped to the BBC Sport page and there it was!!! LIVERPOOL are CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!!!!
Wow. Coming from behind, winning on penalties, must have been one hell of a match. Anyone know where it can be downloaded yet? I'll be doing the search during my lunch break!

It's nice to see the trophy go to England. Liverpool is my 2nd team. I just love the city and heritage (nothing personal against Everton).

So what will happen next year in the Cup? Will UEFA grant Liverpool a wild-card entry after they finished outside the top 4? I hope so. It would be a shame to not be able to defend it.

Here's to a great run in Europe...and hopes for an even better run in the domestic arena next year!

 GO LIVERPOOL!!!

				| Warning for the unwary:
Never ever sit on a balcony in Greece and drink a big bottle of retsina with a Liverpool fan and his Everton girlfriend and ask, "So, are you Liverpudlians?"

You will not get the answer you expect.

				| What's great about this victory for an English neutral is that it isn't part of a season where one team dominates the domestic game.
Chelsea were 37 points clear of Liverpool in the premiership, and Arsenal won the FA cup- if Liverpool can win the top prize in Europe this season then it says a lot about the amount of talent playing in England, and the amount of quality English players around right now.
