I didn't see too many cheers from the right over this one.
Too bad about all those "dirty Right boys" like DeLay. -snif-
I guess the GOP was thinking about what their own fundraisers do, and then were surprised that the Dems were honest. |

Yeah, he's guilty of exercising good judgement in choosing his causes. Raising money for Bush should be an indictable offense in itself. |

You don't think this is a serious issue for Billary?
I'm sure she's got her eye on it!
Dude, you investigate her campaign, and you investigate her. You can't wipe her name off of it.

This is from an older thread on this topic. Derrek wrote that on May 9. Wonder what his take is on the not guilty verdict. |

I am not a conservative or a liberal. I have not followed this case. I guess because, in reality, for me, it is a non-issue.
However, from reading the article posted by the OP it appears the guy in the hot seat was considered by the jurors to be stupid instead of guilty. Even the defense agreed the described violations happened. But their defense was that their client was stupid. That is not something I would want to put on my resume:
2000 - 2002: Political fundraiser - Described as stupid by a jury of my peers.
Overall, it appears to be a lot of noise about nothing. Even if numbnuts was convicted it didn't involve ole what's-er-name. So what's the big deal?
Politics - It would be humorous if it wasn't so pathetic. Jeez. |
