Okay.. ROUND ONE of the Miss Universe contest!! Belize vs. Bolivia vs. Brazil vs Bolivia!
The two contestants with the most votes will move on to Round 2.
All of the contestants will be shown and voted on until we end up with the grand winner of Dave's ESL Cafe!

What's up with Miss Brazil???
Is she supposed to be the most beautiful Brazil has to offer?
I can run into half a dozen girls way way hotter than her just walking down the street to the beach in Rio De Janero. |

For some reason, in these contests or even with Brazilian TV.. they seem to try to find the most European looking of people (instead of searching for the best representative of typical Brazilian beauty).
I went with Miss Bolivia this round.. particularly because of the 1st picture! Brazil a close second.. even the ones non typical of Brazilian beauty are still pretty damn hot!

Even though Ms. Brazil is beautiful, I have a Brazilian friend who is more beautiful(sorry fellas... I have no pics of her here)  My Brazilian friend also told me that she's just considered "blah" in her country. 
My husband likes these pics though...especially Ms. Bolivia's white dress.  |

She does look a bit funny in those pictures.
