I have a 128mb GF4 Ti4200 in the computer at home. If I want to buy a card here that would be a big enough improvement over the Ti4200 so I should buy it then bring in it my suitcase so I can use it at home... which card would it be?
How much?
What store?
I don't live in Seoul so I'm asking here. Thanks. |

personally I'd think the 128mb GF4 Ti4200 would still be decent enough to run most anything on.
Soryy, not much help I guess. |

It's a DX8 card....quite old.
How much do you want to spend? Almost anything recent will give you an improvement. What kind of games do you like to play? Fast-paced shooters or Starcraft? |

Captain, I've got that card. I'd steer clear of it these days. They're noisy and hot (mine has 2 fans). The newer generations of cards have smaller cores, put out less heat, and have smaller fans. |

W150,000 or under would be nice... I realize that might put me out of the market for anything worth while. I want to play the new shooters... |

You can almost pick up a cheap Radeon 9800Pro for that. It's a last generation card, but still damn good.
You could also pick up a cheap 6600GT for a shade under 150,000.
