Can you take pictures on the DMZ or the tunnel tours?

The guides on the USO's DMZ tour will clearly tell you when you are and aren't allowed to take photos. |

Take your camera. There were only a couple spots where we were told no photos and some people even took pictures and the guides didn't do anything anyways. Not that I'm saying you should do that. Just that when it happened the guide didn't speak into his cuff and a swarm of agents came flying in and took his camera. |

I had my picture taken right at the end of the tunnel.
Right at the door that is "supposedly" North Koreans on the other side.
Unfortunately the guy from Busan (a fellow Nova Scotian) never emailed me the picture. I'm sure it just slipped his mind.
Be discrete and take pictures anywhere but put on the very "oh, so sorry face" when they come running over if they catch you. |
