Why exactly should I trust you, who is waging a "jihad" against Islam?

How are you different in any way from bin Laden?

Fundamentalists of any stripe are dangerous and evil - Christians just as much as Islamics. Where is the Christian act of turning the other cheek here? Oh, that's right, Christian acts such as these should be performed by other people - and if they don't do it, maybe they should be put to the bayonet as well.

Either W.T.Carl is a troll or he has the brain of one and his comments belong here with all the other crackpots. http://www.reandev.com/taliban/

Thank you. We are at war with Islam. We haven't or at least we haven't for the last several hundred years tried to force our religion on those people. And yet we see holy places of ours and other religions desecrated. Why is the "Dome of the Rock" on the foundations of Solomon's Temple? Why is Saint Sophia in Constantinople now a mosque? Who blew up the two buddhas in Afghanistan? How many Hindu Shrines have been burned and mosques erected in their place? How have the Bahai's of Iran fared under Islam? Do you think that if these scum had taken Rome that St. Pauls would still be a church? And now we see bombings in a truely peaceful place called Thailand. Again, we are at war. Are you traitors or mearly "useful idiots"? The only way to trust a muslim is to put your trust in your bayonet and your bayonet in the muslim.

Ha. Aren't you the badass tonight. Bayonets in muslims and the like. I'm willing to bet that when you find out one of the people at your table is a muslim you cross your arms and clam up, then come to Dave's afterwards to vent.
Let's see you put your words into action. I dare you.

For the "people" locked up at Gitmo, kill 'em all. If they are innocent, they will receive their reward in heaven. If they are guilty, good riddence. As for the Abu Ghariab people: having your picture taken in your underwear isn't torture, having your fingernails pulled out is. Understand?

PS: I don't like Muslims and would just as soon shoot one as break wind. We are at war with their culture--NO PRISONERS.

Yeah, kill the people in Gitmo, because that'll get moderate Muslims on our side.

Besides all the other good reasons, including tolerance, understanding, and an unwillingness to enter into an Armageddon where countless innocents will die, I will give you a compelling reason why you should cease your jihad against Islam: They may well win.

I get my info from the Associated Press ... where do you get yours? How accurate has Cheney and the White House Press Secretary been about most things going on over there?

Many of these guys aren't from Afghanstian - what were they doing there?

The U.S. government has classified the detainees in Camp X-Ray as "illegal combatants," rather than prisoners of war (POWs), which they claim means that they do not have to be conferred the rights granted to POWs under the Geneva convention (at least under that convention). The US government justifies this designation by claiming that they do not have the status of either regular soldiers nor that of guerrillas, and they are not part of a regular army or militia. Remember it was the opinon of the Clinton adminstration that Bin Laden could not be convicted in a US court so they let him go.

Good call or bad call?

By the way the US is not at war with Islam. The US is at war with Bathists, Bin Laden followers , and those that follow Khomeni.

The US has every right to go after them, cause they are always making war against the US.

I thought I told you to stop typing and go do something already. I think you're all full of bluster.

Hmm, let's see, There was this Pakistani who got a Jinro bottle upside of his noggin in Kimpo, but then again that was because he got grabby with a fellow teacher, but I would have done to the same to anybody who did that. Then there was this muslim who decided to give me some crap about the USS Carl Vinson hat I was wearing in Amsterdam and ended up swimming in one of the canals. I guess muslim s*** DOES float.

That's not good enough - they started it. I'm talking about your comments regarding the bayonet. Just toughing it up with a few people that happen to be muslim does nothing to reduce the population. I want to see a promise from you that you'll put a knife in the back of the next muslim you see (when you have the chance to slip away that is) whether you know them or not, irregardless of gender or age. Do we have a deal?

I also suggest you draft a letter of apology to the noble crew of the Carl Vinson working to spread goodwill in Dubai.

Only if I can do it legally. Keep in mind the Pakistani was pre- USS Cole and that if he wasn't assaulting a freind and fellow teacher, his head would not have felt a Jinro bottle. The joker who went swimming in the canal went out of his way to pick a fight and that was post 9/11 and I was in no mood to be tolerant.

Or maybe Iraq. But let's not be glib - I'm looking for a real promise from Carl here. Going to Iraq might require some retraining and following orders from others, whereas it's possible to begin the slayings right here in Korea if done right.

All I sense from you is that you're a bit more willing to rough someone up if they are being annoying if they are a muslim. Is that all this talk amounts to? "They all deserve to be bayoneted" just means "I'm more likely to fight them if they are being confrontational"?
Disappointing. We were talking about all muslims and here we are getting down to specifics again.

There are comparatively few Muslims in Korea. The best way to maximize results AND do it legally, is for him to put his cajones where his mouth is, enlist, and get on with it.

But I don't want to ruin your fun and I won't ask him to promise to do that.
