Check this story out: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050607/ap_on_re_us/chain_saw_border

A guy with a chainsaw, etc. was allowed into the US. Great read.

Not the first psycho in NB.

They caught a serial killer in Moncton a few years ago.

They should have called the RCMP instead of confiscating his bloody chainsaw and allowing him to cross the border.

Seems to me...someone's brain housing group was not working along the border!
But...in all fairness...the cops did say that they did a computer search and turned up no info and held him in custody for two hours trying to sort it all out.
Anyone entering the U.S. by plane from another country....ALL passengers names are ran through the computer system for checks, arrest warrants, etc....same with driving across the border. If your name is on the blotter...you're caught...simple enough. If it's not in the system...keep running and keep quiet!

I see what you mean. To their credit, it seems they have kept close tabs on him because he's already back in custody.

Or thought crimes.

I've known a few politically "incorrect" University profs etc who've been denied entry into the US because of their beliefs & views on various subjects.

This goes back to the early 90's Idea
