I was reading a story to my kids about how we are all different, and yet the same. One line was: "We all have clothes we like to wear." I paused to point out how everyone there was wearing clothes. My eyes wandered around the classroom for more inspiration. I grabbed the teddy bear to point out how even the teddy bear was wearing a sweater realizing too late that he wasn't wearing pants. So, I crisscrossed my hands in front of the teddy bear and jokingly implored them not to look as poor teddy had no pants. The kids were giggling, but one piped up, "Yes, but you're TOUCHING it!!!"
