New rig:
Dual-Core Pentium 840 chip (each core OC'd and running at 4ghz)
Had to use Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 HSF and raise the core voltage from 1.4V to 1.45V and upping the multiplier from 16 to 20. Luckily, this Intel chip is unlocked.
Memory: 8 Gig of PC2-5400 DDR2 ).
HD: Dual 74GB Raptor Internal Serial ATA 10000RPM Hard Drives -- raided.
Video card: 3DLabs Wildcat Realizm 800 16x PCI-E 640MB GDDR3 Memory Dual-link DVI-Ix2 (none of that wimpy game-playing card crap here).
Not much else in there, except a DVD/CD player, as it is a project, at the moment.
Mine tends to run a little hot, so I added an extra fan.

My computer area is a mess, so I'll spare you the photos.
AMD Athlon 2500+ XP @ 11x200Mhz & 1.725v+ (a common OC to 3200+)
Abit NF7-S v2
2x 512MB Corsair XMS DDR400
ATi Radeon 9800 128MB
Antec Truepower 550W
Antec Lanboy case
Pioneer DVR-106D DVD/RW/+-
Pioneer DVD-120
1x120G WD PATA
1x120G Seagate SATA
1x200G Seagate SATA
Hitachi CM721.
Would have loved to upgrade a few bits and pieces, particular the gfx card, enough to tide me over until PCI-E, probably an X800XT with 256MB for Battlefield 2, he hard-drives (another 200, but not much room on my case) and another monitor.. the 4ms Viewsonic 19" LCD looks pretty damn good. Would have had a look at another Antec case, or a LianLi but they can get pricey.
Gotta hold out for my long holiday so it'll have to wait.. :)

Camera's out of the country right now on loan, which means I don't have to clean up all the mess on my computer desk.
Athlon64 3000+ (OCed to 3200) w/Stock fan
Cheapass nForce3 250 board
512MB GEiL PC3200
GeForce 6600 (OCed to 360/500)
Hitachi 160GB SATA
Maxtor 200GB
WD 80GB (left over so I may as well use it)
NuTech 8xDVD-writer
Cheap black case w/350W p/s
19" CRT
Ozaki 2-channel speakers.
Nothing fancy. It all works well enough, but I will be upgrading sometime. I'm just tossing up whether to go for a Venice-core Athlon64 3200+, or go for the X2 4400+. At the moment I'm leaning toward the 3200+ because if I put it with a good heatsink I can OC it by 35% with air-cooling; and if I can find a source for Mushkin PC4000 Redline memory, it'll OC to match the CPU perfectly - with tight timings. Put 'em together on a DFI nF4-Ultra board, throw in matched SATA HDDs, and I'll be happy.
On the other paw, the 4400+ on the same system would be fun to play with, even if it wouldn't scale quite so well on air-cooling. Would be awesome for gaming while doing some hefty background processing; but since most of the background stuff I do is HDD intensive rather than CPU intensive, and since the 4400+ CPUs aren't available in Korea yet...
Sheesh. Too hard for me to pick what to do. I'll see how I feel next time I'm in Yongsan.
