My ipod keeps pausing for no apparent reason, sometimes after only a couple of mins, sometimes after an hour. Sometime 5 or 6 times in a row. Sometimes when I have it on hold, sometimes not. I just dont understand and I am worried about the wee thing, is it sick??

Take it in before the warranty is done.
My gf's I-pod quit working, and she was out of warranty. The Apple service center without even opening it, flatly said, "We can fix it, but it will cost more than a new I-pod."
This is why I will never buy one for myself. |

Unlikely. You check that basic stuff before asking for help. Unless the guy is a moron. Pauses are not dropouts! Ipods seem to suck big time. I'll stick with my little baby 128 machine until I get an iriver or something like it. but I wont buy an ipod because they suck arse for many reasons.
Apple products look great but you can get an ugly machine that'l do a much better job for 50% of the price.
Ipods look great but they don't deliver the goods. |
