#3 Japanese () - ja - 122549 articles
#28 Korean (ѱ) - ko - 10163 articles
Japan has slightly over twice the population, slightly less internet penetration (Japan has 53% internet penetration vs. 63% over here), but twelve times the articles. What's the reason? |

More international interest in all things Japanese... so that begs the next question: why. God, I don't want to get into that one. |

But the Japanese wikipedia (except for a few exceptions) is written all by Japanese people, so that wouldn't explain it. |
