When I worked in Migeum a few years ago I met some folks who worked for Kangs. They only worked four days/week because of the owners' religious beliefs (though I don't know if that was SDA or not). Four days a week sounded good, but they also got paid quite a lot less (i.e. 1.5 million, as I recall). These teachers didn't complain much.
Sorry, secondhand knowledge is all I've got. |

The school in migeum died badly. It can't be that one, but there is a main campus in seoul. Is it that one? |

There are two Kangs here in Daejeon...One is in Dunsan-Dong and the other in Songchon-Dong (or maybe it is Beop-Dong). Both areas are new with a ton of schools and foreign teachers, I live near the latter and, though there is no western restaurants (I prefer Korean anyways!), I really like the area.
They seem to be doing alright as there buses are generally full when I see them. I have never heard of any relationship with the SDA (FWIW). In fact, we have an SDA English school in the city and it is widely thought of as the best school for adults in the city,
I would check with FLEA (Foreign Language Educators' Association- ܱȸ) a group recently started here in Daejeon at:
