i'm 23. it's interesting coming to korea and being the baby of the bunch again. i was always one of the oldest ones around in my last year of college.

it's true what they say about your 22nd birthday. its the first birthday where 'older' sounds bad. of course 22 isn't old at all. it's just that it is no better than 21 (legal drinking age in america). just older. 19 is better than 18 because you're a year closer to being 21. but 22? what do you get? a moment to contemplate the transient nature of human life. that's all. and frankly, i could do without that.

did you know brad pitt is forty something? i'll never worry about my age.

because all the girls here say i look just like brad pitt. hahaha

Thread rerun. The 20's represent a slight majority of the 125 votes. Seems believeable.

Started studying Korea formally at 19. Turned 21 and 22 here if I recall correctly, and that was in the late 80s. Moved over permanently in 93. Was back and forth to the US during a couple of years when I was taking my final degree in the early 2000s. 49 now. Man, time sure does fly when you spend your entire adult life here lol....
