I don't know how they do it, legally. They must get some kind of visa for their teachers. They teach business classes on-site and in-house (I think), among other things. And they do some advertising work for companies.

As for the teaching, that's what I don't understand. I thought it was illegal to teach anywhere but at the school? I've always been amazed that they haven't gotten busted, with as much advertising as they do. So maybe they are doing it legit?

Just be sure that YOU are legit and have the proper legal paperwork. The current climate is VERY dangerous for those teaching corporate gigs.

On a personal level, I have met Trevor and Dan, and I thought they were cool.

Trevor rang me last week about a position and I had the same question regarding the legalities of what they do. But alas, my battery went dead and I headed off on vacation, so I don't see that it'll matter much where I'm concerned. Still, I'm interested to hear what anyone has to say about them.

True

Ha! Dan wishes - he tries to sell insurance, that's about it.

He once took an official to a room salon - does that count?

They don't hire illegal teachers

Not true. They used to hire part timers and not put any paperwork for them. They also used to encourage their full timers (especially any Canadians) to just stay on a tourist visa

There is no comparison with Yeeha and the illegal agencies that you are reading about in this forum.

As far as I am concerned they are the same - charge the client 90 thousand plus per hour, pay the teacher 30 thousand and give them little to no support

They most certainly employ illegal workers. At least, they have in the past. A friend of mine did some work for them a while back. No visa. No permission. Nothing. I double-checked with my friend after reading this thread.

And to poke a bit of fun at thier ad:

... it's not a Kiddie Hagwon job. Don't treat it as such.

(actually, it's a place that employs illegals -- so treat it as that).
