The Lord of the Rings movies are my favorite films ever made, and I hate to be a wet blanket, but this doesn't look very appealing. Plus the CGI looks crap. Am I the only one who thinks this?

Yeah, where did the dinosaurs come from? Bad idea.
I think the Jassica Lange/Charles Grodin version will probably remain the best one, not just for the film, but the music score was really well done. Who was it, John Williams, I think? or someone else immitating his style. |

Jackson has stated that the special effects in the trailor aren't necessarily the ones you'll see in the final edit.. he just had to rush out a trailor for the studio... |

I haven't seen the original, but I believe that in that film the first shot of Kong is him fighting a T-rex.

There were a ton of dinosaurs in the original, why change it? How about giant naked women fighting Kong? Evil turds? Jerry Springer? What would it take to turn your crank?
