I thought he wants the student to come to him???????

No, I wanted her to stand up (get up) out of her chair.
I believe someone tried to correct me with the wrong answer when I wasn't wrong in the first place. |
Correct. Erona is the way to tell someone, in a very rude way, to stand up.
Sora doesn't really make any sense. That's like yelling "YOU ARE STANDING!" and Ͼ have slightly different meanings. I'm no expert, but I did confirm this with the KT to my right.
One means the action of stand, the other means the condition of standing. Just a fyi.
When someone told you that ERONA means "Come Here", they were thinking of ̸, perhaps. |

This doesn't mean stand up...
It means come this way...
Stand Up impolitely is (SOORRAAHH!!!)
By the way I understand what you mean...maybe once a year for me but when i do you fell pretty dumb afterwards... |
That's funny, Derrick I thought you knew Korean. Angry/yelling who really cares when it is a rare happening and deserved/understandable. Where you made a mistake was speaking/yelling in Korean, whether what you said was correct or not doesn't mean much(except jokes about your Korean language skills), but they would have remembered whatever English word you said/yelled.
Go to your thesaurus and next time this happens yell a word similiar to "sit down/come this way/stand up" so that they might learn something(Vocabulary). You can say it is your new but seldom used style of teaching. When you speak/yell Korean in class you can't justify anything.
Not to make you feel any worse but the Koreans(students/co-teachers/Wonjang) might call it losing face not losing cool! |
Ha, well, you can see I was wrongly corrected when I wasn't incorrect.
On that note, I don't know a ton of Korean, but hope to remedy that this Fall and Winter. |

eee-ruhn-aah = GET UP! or STAND UP! For example, GET UP S*$THEAD! (˴밡 Ͼ!)
suh-rah = STOP! For instance, "THIEF(male)! STOP!" (ϳ! !)
ihl-eee-waah = COME HERE! As in, "S*$T-DOG, COME HERE!" (˰ ̸!)
̤ ؤ 椧.
...Sorry...All are good and rude.
Forgot to add, I usually kick 'em out, too. Or, I sometimes completely ignore 'em, especially when it's a little clique of princesses who are being especially annoying. |

That's funny.
