Onstyle has some good shows. BBC is not bad. OCN has a few good movies.
Don't have AFN or Discovery now. I miss them.
I guess I spend a bit of time watching tv, so i consider it important. |

I have a TV, it's old, but functional. I don't watch it though, just the occasional GameCube gaming. With no DVD player, I just watch movies on my computer. My brief Reacquaintances with TV usually just show how little I'm missing out on. So really, having a TV means nothing to me as I can just run the GameCube into my computer for some good Zelda lovin'.
My computer though, that's a different story... |

When I moved to Korea, I got over watching TV pretty fast. BBC gets really old, really fast.
That said, I did watch a lot of movies, couldn't believe they were only 500-1000 won to rent, that's way better than the 5 bucks in Canada at Blockbuster.
I also spent a lot more time on the 'net, mostly keeping in touch with friends back home.
It probably was pretty even in the end, in terms of total time watching/using movies/TV/Internet between Korea and home. |

I like to keep the TV on in the background. Just to provide company. Few shows I really need to watch. Letterman. CNN. That's about it. Bit.torrent helps. |

In my first year in Korea, I didn't even have a TV. This time I do, but I never watch it. Even at home, the only thing I really watched on TV were sports. |

When I first got to Korea there were no English channels available where I lived. I missed TV but got used to it. Later on I moved and got TV (AFN and Hong Kong Star) and watched a lot less than I thought I would, but was glad to have it when I wanted. Now that I'm home in the US and have 50 channels, I don't watch any of them except for some news shows. I know when I move back to Korea later this summer, I will miss TV again. I guess I'm just perverse. I want it when I don't have it and don't use it when I do have it. |

i opted not to get cable when i moved to my current place, though i do rent the odd movie now and then. i figured that it would make me go out more and do things, rather than vegging in front of the box.
now i just vegg in front of the computer, posting on dave's |

These days I often go all week without turning it on.
Except for that darn Lost series. Why couldn't it have just been a movie like I first thought it was? Now I'm hooked and need my twice weekly fix.
Other than that, nothing much. Maybe a ten at night movie, once or twice in a moon.
I watch more movies in wintertime. |

BBC Gets Old real fast?
I'd *kill* for BBC. I've called around to select my cable provider and they say they only have CNN.
Are you in Yongsan-Gu? Can you give me the number of your cable provider?

I watch the CSI series on OCN religiously. Other than that it's CNN for about 20 minutes. Sometimes the odd movie. |

It does keep you connected to the outside world though, when I lived in China you knew nothing about what was happening outside of China because my computer sucked balls. |
