*counts to ten*

If you sell something like say an aircon on Sunday and promise to deliver it on Monday, then don't. Then promise to deliver it on Tuesday, then don't. Then promise to deliver it on Wednesday, then decide you don't have that aircon in stock, you can expect a big loud English speaking mess up in your establishment tonight. You hear me Homeplus?!! Huh?!! Do ya?!!

Are you implying that the supply of aircons has been exhausted?

I'm suggesting that this particular salesman's credibility has been exhausted. He seems to eat as slowly as he delivers on his promises. The girl who answers the phone says he's eating lunch from 11:00 - 2:00 and dinner from 5:00 - 8:00.

man, those are prime working hours in sales aren't they? most people only have those times to go out and shop. . .(and yes, I get it, he's avoiding you)

This sounds really unusual for Korea.. .sounds more like a North American maga chain approach to selling. . .wait. . .homeplus??

Don't give me any ideas. They've refunded my account but I'm not satisfied. I guess that's what I get for buying an aircon on the hottest day of the year during a big sale at Homeplus. High (price) Mart here I come!

Or anyplace. The (vernacular) newspapers & flea market rags are full of ads for air-conditioners now. Pages upon pages. New, used, big, small. Seems a real buyer's market here. Nothing like the Great Air-Con Shortage of 1994-1996. Tell 'em about it, Ya-ta. During the nights, we had to make due with electric (death) fans and half-undressed young women rubbing ice cubes all over our bodies.

Every night.

With their mouths.

Technomart is a 4 or 5 hour drive from my place and the Carrefour here sucks so no. Himart delivered next day but my stupid apartment building wont let them put the fan outside so it's about 200 degrees on my "veranda".
