Has anyone heard of the SLP institute in Suji county, Yong-in city. They want to hire me for late August arrival. Just wondering if there is anyone with both good and bad comments about this school. Thanks in advance

SLP is often jokingly called, "SLAVE LABOR PROGRAM" by many former teachers.

Every chain school can differ, however, I suggest you read the following warning from www.efl-law.com :

http://www.efl-law.com/KETA.html

Scroll down a bit on the page, and you'll find the SLP warning.

When English Spectrum was up and running there were more posts about how SLP and a number of other franchaises were consistantly sucky, regardless of who their private owner was, regardless of if it was a university program or a hagwon. There's a post by Snowk somewhere where I relate my own experience with SLP...they seem to attract the worst owners, the kind that most people write horror stories about.

I'd talk a bit to some of their former employees or current employees before you commit yourself. Aside from their poor teaching materials and 80 minutes classes, my ex-bosses and many others I'd read about were the worst kind of people. Be careful.
