Laying on the beach.

Swimming in the ocean.

(Living on an island has its advantages.)

Summer begins in a couple of weeks in my books: from mid-July until mid-October hereabouts.

I don't have to work. Any season in which that is true is fine by me!

Seconded. I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything is soft and smooth.

It seems that some of you morally upright people are overlooking the single greatest thing about summer: the semi-nudity. Nothing like sitting outside a hof, beer in hand, discussing the matters of the day whilst those frolicksome young folks pass by and offer the most teasing glimpses of bare flesh.

Last week we almost saw a shoulder! Shocked

Quote:
In the summertime when
The weather is high
You can stretch right up
And touch the sky
When the weather is fine
You've got women
You've got women
On your mind
I'm gonna drive and ride and
See now what I can find

Now if her daddy's rich
Take her out for a meal
And if her daddy's poor
Then do as you feel
Speedin down the lane even
Thought the speed limit's 25
And when the sun goes down
I'll make it with my cutie pie

Unless, of course, you happen to be a whale of a person...then no, summer would really suck ass.
