Before I came to Korea to teach english, I was the Crown Prince on a planet called Zorron, which orbits the twin stars of the Sirius system. I was employed there as a kind of telekinetic extreme sport showman, but that was really my cover job, as in reality i was a double spy from the anti-matter universe which is ruled by King Cruddria, to whom i'm still enslaved. Long Live Curddria and his band of Eminites!!! ZEEDA ZEEDA ZEEEEEEEEEEEEEDAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

Naturalist and Sea-Kayak Guide... 3-5 day trips hauling everything we needed including water. Was lots of fun. I got into that cause I trained in Commercial Fisheries Management and after graduating college and before moving to inland Daegu all the work I did related to the fish and the sea.

Heard of your store, just never been there. I love the site, Gord. Are there any more untold tales for the Acts?

Before I worked in Korea, I had the usual labor/construction/sawmill/farm jobs available in a small PNW town. After Korea, I became mired in the lowliest of endeavors: small-town newspaper flunky. Then came a few years of working for a plumbing company: I found that cleaning out sewers pays better than journalism and is more rewarding on a personal level. Now I'm getting ready to go back to Korea for more language study so I can work as an interpreter.

I never had a job before I came to Korea.

I highly recommend it! (not having a job). Although it did make the 2-10pm hagwon hours a little hard to get used to at first.

I just figured it was a regionalism ... you know, along the lines of billabong, barbie and didgerido ...

I was a DJ in Belfast for 3 years before Korea. Mostly office parties and weddings. Between 4 and 6 gigs a week.

It was a great job for about 6 months then it started to become very tedious then it was literally making my head feel like a scooped-out melon.

I've also worked 'in computers'.

I was once an actor for about 6 months.

Dishwashing was a favorite anytime I was signing on the dole.

Tulip bulb packing in Holland. Also made my head feel like a scooped-out melon but for different reasons. Too much weed-related fun.
