Down to 24 contestants.. who is left? Well, we have ALBANIA, ARUBA, CANADA, CHINA, CROATIA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, EGYPT, EL SALVADOR, ETHIOPIA, GEORGIA, GERMANY, HUNGARY, ITALY, LEBANON, MEXICO, NORWAY, PERU, RUSSIA, SERBIA, SOUTH AFRICA, THAILAND, UKRAINE, UNITED KINGDOM, VENEZUELA and VIETNAM.
We're going to do a switch on this one.. instead of 4 contestants.. we're going to just have 3 contestants (except for a special situation with Norway/Hungary who tied for second last round and will be a 4-contestant race).
So it'll be 3 contestants.. choose the best one.. and the TOP 2 will advance. After this round we'll have an EVEN 16 contestants. A perfect number. From then on out, it'll be straight 1 vs. 1 until we have our Finalist, etc., etc. Should be good.
In case you're wondering, as there is 24 left.. I divided them into every 8th contestant to go against each other. Next round (with 16 left), we'll just be competing with whoever is alphabetically next to them.
Without further delay, I represent the first round of ROUND THREE..
Miss Canada - Natalie Glebova

Miss Germany - Asli Bayram

Miss South Africa - Claudia Henkel

Yeah, somehow worked out that way.
When there were 48.. I took every 12th alphabetically. Now there is 24.. I took every 8th alphebetically. Weird coincidence.
On the plus side.. two advance to the FINAL 16.. so she has a very high chance of still advancing.. (unless South Africa gets some surge - which doesn't seem likely).
If she advances, and seems likely to get the #2 spot.. she has Albania and Aruba alphabetially above her.. and China and Croatia alphabetically below her.. probably taking on one of those if she advances. It seems likely. After this round, just 1-on-1 vs. whoever is alphetically closest to them.
Its gonna be good. |
