Now there's talk in the Canadian papers about how Holmoka wants a publication ban because she wants to live the rest of her life in obscurity. Not sure if that will fly, last time I checked Canada believed in free press.
Anyway, maybe she should have thought of the publicity before she brutally killed people, including her own sister. |

Would you kill her? If so, you are right. If not, then you are wrong.
Who wants to go to jail for a longer sentence than she had? |

Yes, Karla could be freaky waygook #1 if she came to Korea land.
Can you get a passport with a criminal record?
Also, Karla's a Psych major huh??? ... talk about confirming every negative steryotype of Psych majors out there...
Now all she needs is to own a horse and become a "horse person" and she could easily qualify for Flakey Woman of the year! |
Funny, the last time this subject came up I suggested that if the government gave her a new ID, maybe she could get a new passport number and come to Korea and teach. I hear EPIK has a lot of girls middle school openings.
As for the horse, didn't she become lovers with an armed robber who inherited a fortune while in prison, and the plan was they were going to get a secluded country estate?
Then there's the CBC interview I remember seeing just before she went to prison where she said that when she got out she wanted to get a job 'working with children'.
I think what's so bizarre and perhaps even unique to a point about this case is how two such thoroughly demented people ended up married and teaming up together. It's also intersted to note that while Paul was already a serial rapist, no one started dying (that we know of) until Karla started teaming up with and abducting people for him. |

It's a tough call.
Would I seek her out-no, but not because I'm not afraid to face the music, I would actually like to see her have a road to Damascus conversion.
However, if I were drivng up to a 4 way intersection and Killer K was crossing the street, I probably would succumb to the temptation and hit passing gear instead of my brake and al her sufferring would be over. |
