I would not necessarily make that assumption.
The London bombings were necessarily not just about London. It might have been the London/G8 combination. Might have been something else entirely.
The truth is: we don't know. |

The targeting is about who has soldiers in Iraq. France never did and actually vocally opposed the occupation of Iraq. If Al Qaeda were to attack Paris it would be completely harmful to their cause.
Korea has a high chance of being attacked because they have the third largest force in Iraq.
If Al Qaeda follow the pattern they have set then Korea could be next. |
The West is the enemy. If Al Qaeda (if such an organization actually exists) is going to spend time and money, they will attack the West. It they have a bone to pick with any other part of the world, they will kidnap an individual or two, decapitate them and make their point that way. Imagine how hard it must be to enter South Korea then operate clandestinely when your physical appearance is radically different from that of the local population. Not to mention that Koreans have a fetish for foreigners. |

I agree. To bomb seoul would be flattery.
An al jazeera vid of an ajosshi trussed up with some guys in balaclavas waving guns in his face would be more effective at causing terror in Korea than anything else. |

Besides YongSan, there is;
1. CoEx
2. KOTRA
3. No. 63 Building
4. Any place where foreigners congregate en masse (IE. Itaewon, hongdae, shinchon)
5. Heavily dense areas (Kangnam, Jongno, etc.) |
This is sick posting.
I could give my top ten tactical run down as well ...
I think any foreigner in Korea who posts "likely" or "unlikely" locations for terrort strikes is just helping provide information to would be terrorists. |

What the hell do you mean? Why don't journalists stop reporting all together as we play right into Bush the moron and his administration's hands? If terrorists wanted to bomb a city, it would take them no time to discover the right places to plant the bomb.
Oh, thats right. Daves is the place for a terrorist to go for key information. |

Oh please. It would only take 1 minute for anyone with any sense to come up with those ideas. Any terrorist who would seriously consider attacking Korea would think of those immediatly. |

OK Then:
If terrorists wanted to kill as many foriegners in Korea as possible (mulinationatily) PLUS US service men then would hit (BLANK) ...
I think the most likely place for terrorists to hit in Korea is (BLANK) because of the high voulume of multination targets and a substantial number of US servive personel.

Who says terrorists would want to hit areas with lots of foreigners? Or "multinational targets" as the previous poster puts it? If they attack Korea, which is possible because Korea is present in Iraq, their goal is to terrorize Koreans and make Korea drop out of the "coalition of the willing". They are going to want to kill as many Koreans as possible in a way that makes all the others feel vulnerable... a major subway station would be likely. When is the next major Korean election? |
