Some of the cutest girls I've seen in this country are just "regular" people - you know, just some girl working at a GS 25 or something...
And, as far as bars go, you're pretty much always gonna see a good looking waitress at a younger crowd soju/hof... |

haha, true enough. it's also very dark in there.
there's a bar somewhere where the girls dress up in costumes (like one is a school girl, one is a cop and so on) appropriately enough called 'Character Bar.' I think its near Shinsadong. The girls there were hot, but only because they were willing to wear such ridiculous clothes. Kind of like the promotion girls. You see them at first and you're like "woah, hot!" because they're wearing those outfits but when you really look at them they're just regular girls |

This is so true. I was in Myoung Dong yesterday, and there was a girl working the juice stand that was so, so cute. |

There's one of those in Kwangju too. The bartenders were fairly pretty, and the show was a lot of fun. Wouldn't go back for seconds though. Too pricey. |

| They do that at Andersen's in Gangnam, I don't know if that's where you are talking about. I'm sure they do it in many bars. They even did it in Wonju when I lived there last year. There's an old saying, "if they do it in Wonju, they must do it everywhere." |

I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds by stating that I think Pyongshin was being sarcastic. If you've seen one of these "shows" you've seen 'em all. They're annoying and you can't order drinks while the "show" is taking place.
Plus, a lot of high school dropouts seem to think it's their life's calling.

Dude, you're not telling it "like it is". Maybe it's how you think it is. And you are being a jerk, as are others participating in this cutting-up fest. The things you wrote are mean and uncalled for. That's how I think it is.

He's had this name for a while, 2 or 3 years here on the forums, but every time I've run into him around town it's been in Hongdae. It's possible to read too much into trivialities on a message board ... you think you know something about me just because of this avatar? I've had it for 2 or 3 years also. People glom onto it and think they know all they need to,and that makes me giggle.
Itaewon has been getting better - the only positive thing I can point to that happened after 9/11 is that the owners of clubs there started to get wise that the places that will prosper will not be the ones that cater to and attract off-duty American soldiers but rather instead to the more upscale business types in Seoul.
IG mmight be being a jerk also, but the class of folk who come around the "twon could still use some improvement.... |

There's a new gorgeous female bartender at Magic Castle in Ansan. But no one here is in Ansan, so I guess she's all mine.
Hold on -- I'M not in Ansan.
As an aside, I won a "Sexy Dancing" contest there Saturday night. I honestly can't dance, but the prize was a bottle of Absolut. |
