I have a break for the first three days of August (giving me a five day weekend), and I would like to see China while I'm still on this side of the Pacific. Particularly, I want to go to Beijing.

So, I'm looking for a travel buddy - someone to share a two person tour package with me. This one looks great: http://tour-beijing.com/btour/. It's four days, so I could book either Sat 07/30 to Tues 08/02, or Sun 08/31 to Wed 08/03. Costs would include round trip from Incheon to Beijing (to be determined) plus the tour cost, and spending cash.

I'm 22, American, and female, and I'm very easy-going and friendly. I really want to see more of Asia than Seoul and its suburbs! Rolling Eyes

If you have the same days off from work, and you're interested in making a new friend, please consider being my travel buddy!

If you're interested in the Beijing tour, here's a couple of threads you should read:

http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/korea/viewtopic.php?t=41380&highlight=

and my own experiences:

The lowdown is that I don't reccomend you take the tour unless shopping for ridiculously overpriced jade, silk, and tea at faux-"factories" is your thing.

Look at her picture Ahole. Who puts up a picture like that and then asks for a "friend". I'm sure that it's legit but I was just poking some fun that's all. Lighten up you square. It's off topic after all!!!

You know what, I was sincerely just trying to make a new friend. It's hard enough to meet people as it is, since I live all the way out in Ansan, and I was hoping to maybe see another country (since in thirteen months I've only left Korea to go to one place - Japan, for a visa).

This is an HONEST request for a FRIEND. I had no idea my avatar was going to cause this much trouble. I didn't post that avatar because it's a booby picture, you jerks. I posted it because I bought that teeshirt at Carrefour recently and I think that seeing "Cheetos" and Tony the Tiger together on a shirt is unspeakably hilarious. Laughing

I WAS just as willing to make a new male friend as a female friend, but now I'm asking for responses only from women.

Thanks guys, I was really trying to make an honest and clean inquiry, but you've proven that you'll harrass anyone. Way to go. Evil or Very Mad

PS - Links, thanks for being a decent person. I see that there are still some out there! Smile

Cheetos, are Cheetos, are Cheetos......

If guys see Cheetos, that is all they are going to talk about - it is just human nature. If you don't like the comments about your Cheetos, you might not have posted them on a message board......

By the way, nice Cheetos - I couldn't resist Embarassed

You didn't have to be wearing the shirt to take a picture of it, you know...ps, is Ansan really that desolate? I might move there next year, I thought it was pretty cool...

Crazy,

If it makes you feel any better I noticed how funny your shirt was before noticing....um..nevermind.

No seriously, the shirt is hilarious. I collect shirts that dont make any sense like that. I'm jealous of your find.

Great shirt, really funny. I'll ask some of my co-workers, one mentioned wanting to go to China in August.

Wow, almost tried to get in on this. Too late now though, given I'm male and will probably have to go to Tokyo instead.

Hope I'm here long enough to see Beijing eventually, though.

WTF are Cheetos, anyway?
