Directions to Rocky Mountain Tavern:

If you're standing in front of the Hamilton, cross the street and turn left at Burger King. Now, walk straight for about a block and a half (past the firehouse). Rocky Mountain Tavern is just past the huge set of steps leading up "the Hill".

There are totem poles out front. Look for the sign with the Canadian flag.

For the record, chiaa's "schwa" was the biggest. Whether or not it was actually a schwa is another story.

What is a schwa? Could you draw one?

Here are some other questions from the past 2 weeks:
*=everyone got it
*****=no one got it

Stage and Screen
Name the son of Barney and Betty Rubble.*

The World Past and Present

What is the only country in the world that doesn't have a rectangular national flag?***

Science and Innovation

Cyanide smells like what food?***

The Written Word

What was the maiden name of James Joyce's wife?*****

Sports and Other Diversions

What team does Lance Armstrong ride for?****

Music and Other Noise

Lil' Kim was featured alongside 3 other "divas" in a video for what song?**

Joyce's wife's maiden name was Barnacle. I knew that and Bam Bam, that's all.

Well, Lance Armstrong used to ride for US Postal but his team is now called Discovery.

Nepal's flag is triangular and Switzerland's is square. I count two countries, not one.

Hmmm. The only one of the questions I found hard was the first, the supposed easy one.

Anyone who has a passing interesting in literature remembers the names of James Joyce and F. Scott Fitzgerald's wives for their strange names.

You made short work of it.

Of course it was a team effort.

Allow me to post the most difficult questions asked so far.

Stage and Screen

What play features a game of "literal" verbal tennis between its two main
characters?

The World Past and Present

Mesopotamia was composed of three lands. Babylon, Sumer, and what?

Oliver Wendel Holmes held a degree from Harvard in what field?

Sports and Other Diversions

In what year did North Korea make it to the World Cup quarterfinals?

Who did the Houston Texans win their first regular season game against?

Music and Other Noise

What violinist supposedly sold his soul to the devil?

What rap/hip-hop group's name comes from an HG Wells novel?

Bear in mind that other easier questions are also asked:

Who, according to legend, was hit by an apple in the process of discovering gravity?

We hope to make a spread of questions that will cater to all.

Feedback is welcome.

You're 3-for-6, assuming your knowledge of violinists selling their souls outdistances mine.

The popular answer was Charlie Daniels, but there was no selling involved.

A square IS a rectangle.

Rosencrantz et al. is right.

Assyria is right.

'66 is right.

Thanks. I googled the violinist. I'll leave it up to someone else. It's not Charlie Daniels, someone much older. I'm still stumped on the HG Wells. Are you sure I'm wrong about Holmes? I think I'm right. I don't give a flying fig about the Houston Texans, though. Allright, a square is a rectangle but it's a special kind with a special name, so let's move on.
