All joking aside, don't you think Koreans would go for kimchi-flavored potato chips? Hell, Pringles would make a killing selling fried kimchi chips, I'd say.

They don't have kimchi chips yet? I can't believe it. I gotta ask the kids today. They're experts on the snack food industry. Of course they'll get really excited that I'm interested in their wonderful kimchi. |

Learning the wondrous art of chewing with your mouth actually closed!
Second semester: Learning how to cover your mouth with your hand while actually speaking with your mouth full!
My business will fail miserably. |

How about a restaurant specializing in anything but Korean, Japanese, Chinese, or Anglo-American food.
If you think I'm homesick for Taco Bell, you're right.

Two questions:
1. Isn't Mexico a Western country?
2. Doesn't Taco Bell count as American? |

Okay, you got me.
On my earlier post, I changed "Western" to read "Anglo-American."

I've never been to Mexico, but people from Mexico tell me that it's not quite authentic.
Whatever Taco Bell is, though, I miss it.
PS I wonder if Taco Bell operates in Mexico. |

Foreigner observation galleries |
Fantastic idea, seeing as they always talk about us. I only have to walk into Ms Donuts to start of a heated debate about Foreigners, and why they should/shouldn't be here in the first place. Its even funnier when in their discussion (which they believe I don't understand) they assume I am from the US.
In the former situation, I just stare at them until they realise and shut up. In the latter I butt in on the conversation and correct them that actually I am from England.
So yeah, lets give them more to talk about.

I saw kimchi-flavored chocolates at Nam Day Moon market yesterday. Somebody beat me to that brilliant idea, I guess! |

A new multi-level marketing company to rival Amway and Herbalife called

That's right, a company devoted to selling matching outfits to couples. |

Suds & Suds. A laundromat/bar. I know they have 'em back home. People can bring their laundry and also drink at the same time. Momma's boys can be taught how to do a load of laundry all by themselves. They might have to limit it to beer and not soju as the thought of over-indulging drinkers gives me an oxymoronic image of a puke-infested laundromat. |

Yes, yes it does. From a NY Times artcle on April 11, 1993:
"Pepsico, which owns the Taco Bell chain, saw the fattening wallets of Mexicos younger generation, splashed some extra hot sauce onto its tacos and headed across the border." |
