Many times, you will find a movie in this format (usually the new ones that come out). How do you convert this format on your HD to be read by any media program? Thanks. |

Haven't messed with that format, but have you tried opening it in VLC player? It doesn't require codecs, and has handled everything I've tried except real player files. |

Telecine is not a format. It just means some guy was sitting in the audience with a camera to bootleg the film that ended up as a downloadable file on the internet. If you can't watch the media file, it's because you don't have the proper codec installed. As peppermint said, VLC media player should suffice. It can probably decode the content for your computer to read and display. |

Telecine is when they actually run the movie negative through a little dohickie mounted on the front of a digital camera. Suppose to be expensive and over better quality |
