has anyone ever heard of this place?

JU network (JU='joyful union') has become ubiquitous in my area. they have a big supermarket, a tailor shop, a sort of weird mailorder place where you can browse thru an online catalog and order any manner of goods...

it's all in my neighborhood, and i've not seen it anywhere else. there are seriously 20 JU-related businesses in the area just south of kwanglim church - about the halfway point between apkujeong station and the hannam bridge.

now - it seems that these places are cutting into the little guy's business. they just opened a new convenience store right across from a dude whose family has probably been in the same location for 20 years. the new store has no significant edge on the old mom-n-pop store except that it's roomier and brighter.

i tend to not spend money at JU network stores mostly because they have this sort of sinister wal-mart-y quality to them, and i have a hunch they're in cahoots with kwanglim church.

i have no real evidence, however. does anyone know anything about the JU network? are they bad people? they certainly offer the rudest service of any store in korea...

i have no idea what the company is all about, other than they have taken over this neighborhood. i live in the area as well all i ever see now is JU this and JU that.how long until they take over my apartment?they are also starting to spread around this small area of sinsa near kwanglim church.they do have some of the worst employees i have ever seen, so f'ing rude.

wonder if the DJ JU is running ish... after he left Garion I think he may have got a tidy sum of cash
