I picked up mine today at Kyobo. Regular price was 29 830 won but I got it for 22 280 won because I pre-ordered it. I've read all five and they've been excellent! I read them for fun when I was teaching at the university because we had them in our office and I was hooked. Not just a kids book but any means...........

I finished reading it yesterday.

It's not really a kids book any more. Did anyone else notice that J.K Rowling used the word 'Sl*t' in the book.

chewbaca has a good point. Harry ain't a kid anymore and this isn't really a kids book anymore either. the writing style has matured as harry has gotten older.

I'm glad that harry's got over his whiney teenager phase.

I hated harry's whiny stage. He is much better now. I was worried that he would still be throwing tantrums. He still did a time or two in the new book. but not nearly as bad as before.

"By the time we finish The Order of the Phoenix, with its extraordinary passages of fear and despair, the distinction between `children's literature' and plain old `literature' has ceased to exist... This is one series not just for the decade, but for the ages."
-Stephen King, Entertainment Weekly

Like an idiot, I ordered from Amazon.
I just got a notice saying my order has been shipping, but heaven knows how long it will take to get here.

Same here. I thought I'd save a couple of bucks. Ha! What an idiot I am. Like I'd be able to hold out two more weeks with spoilers floating around like crazy (the website estimates delivery on August 3!).

So.....

....I went to my local bookstore and picked it up yesterday afternoon and finished it about 1/2 hour ago. Erm... I'll have a brand new copy for sale on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum in about 2 weeks if anyone's interested. Wink
