|
|
I'm living in Jeonju, and things are buzzing! We have another new movie theather opening up soon (Co-Op---meaning 7 or 8 now in a city of 700,000), new hip-hop club, Carrefour opening soon, and the granddaddy of them all, a SUBWAYS restaurant (that's right haters) opening in September....seems Jeonju is on the path to kick-a*s-ville!!!!!!!!!! Any other medium sized cities mackin it up like we are? |

Changwon City in Gyeongsangnamdo has obviously gone through the biggest jump in development, basically being built from the ground up, as modern a modern city as you'll find in Korea, and quite unlike any other in basic logistics and lay out.

Yes. The city is new.
And it has several modern services and first-rate sports facilities, like a velodrome. Plus several stores which draw the locals from this island to go there for shopping.
I saw an international Formula-3 car race there.
Everything looks new. Quite unlike most mid-sized cities in Korea. |

Stuff in Cheonan was going up like crazy when I lived there...and from what I heard there's a lot more going on after I left. I've never seen so much construction in my life. |

The velodrome is a large indoor cycling track (not in the pic).

The Changwoners around here should enlighten us. I'll check it out next time I'm thereabouts. |

You're basing this on info or on similarity in the photo?
I was told it's based on European designs. |

I've lived in changwon for 3 and a half years and yes, it is a very nice and rich city...easy to drive around in.
There is one Subway in Changwon in the Lotte Department Store...all i can say is it is the worst one I have ever been to in the world...terrible.
BTW...you can see my house in that photo |

In my experience all Subways taste the same. What's done differently.
Can it be true? |
