The judge is right about the part about not deserving 70 whacks with a hammer. Few things do deserve that.
But this kind of crime is usually considered a crime of passion and does not result in the death penalty. Maybe there is more to the story than was printed? |

sounds like this guy could, just maybe, be a bit unbalanced. his second murder.
