Stupid question maybe, but is it supposed to be rechargeable in the player? My girlfriend has a separate charger for the battery. |

If it's got a removable AAA battery it's highly unlikely that it's designed to be recharged in the player. You buy your own rechargeables and a recharger. This actually works out to be in your favour (as opposed to having a built-in rechargeable). |

Cool. As I was trying to say, you're better off this way than with a rechargable one anyway- I prefer this over a rechargeable; The first day your battery dies on you you'll see why- you can just run to the nearest store and buy a AAA and pop it in and you're good to go (or bring extra rechargeable AAAs with you)- no hunting around for somewhere to recharge and waiting until it's ready. No worrying about having to get the (unremovable) rechargeable battery replaced in a year or two becuase it can't hold a decent charge any more. |
