Anyone know why the cans of Miller Genuine draft sold here are cheaper than the bottles? A six pack goes for just under 6000 won at E-Mart.

Depleted uranium cans. Much cheaper than aluminum these days. Carry on. |

I think the cans are made here, the bottles are US made.
There are several "Miller Time" bars around serving cheap MGD draft, I think Miller must be increasing market share here.
Thank God. |

Lotte Mart has (maybe had by now) a deal where you buy a case of 24 in an insulated back pack for 32 k making the backpack cost around 3k (they charge 7300 for a 6 pack) Great for keeping things-but mainly beer- cold |

Probably. SABMiller is now the biggest brewer in the world as well. |

IMHO it's the best beer available in Korea at a reasonable price. I'm in Vancouver right now and havent had an MGD since I left. I'm enjoying all the Pacific Northwest microbrews. God, I wish I could bring a few cases back with me. |

I think I'm gonna throw up.
Seriously, my stomach is churning.
Vivid memories of killer Miller's from high school.
I vowed: Never again! |

Well, a case of 24 cans of Carlsberg sells for about 25000 won or so. I'd say that's a considerably better beer than Miller. But if you want quality at a low price, you can always brew your own from a kit ordered from one of the few online brew stores in Korea. |
