				| Suicide bomber explodes a bus in Fujian province
Apparently the CHICOM government is still trying to keep this quiet, but they've got pictures at the link above. Really smart of the Islamists. I guess having the US, UK, India and Russia for enemies isn't enough to chew on. Let's get a billion pissed off Chinese on our case also!

	  | The suspected bomber, Huang Maojin, died on the spot.
Huang, 42, was a farmer from Fujian's Gutian County.

According to a suicide note found by police, he had been suffering from lung cancer for about two years.

In the letter, Huang said he had a dispute with one of his neighbours in 2002. He claimed he had been unfairly treated by the local public security department and was sentenced to jail until the end of 2003.
The imprisonment delayed treatment of his illness, he claimed.

Huang's family was heavily in debt and his children were unable to go to school because of lack of money, the letter said.

Police are still investigating the case.

And as the blogger writes below, Chinese muslims don't live in that province. I imagine it would be very hard for Uighur muslims to get to that part of China anyway.

I think all that is relevant is that another fucking freak decided to destroy the lives of ordinary people.

				| Oh dear, they're at it again.. another country threatened with internal chaos and partition at the hand of non-integratable muslim immigrants. That makes just about every country on earth a victim of the virus. Muslim separatism in Xinjiang is the number one threat to China.
Muslim separatists in Xinjiang province receive training in Pakistan and Kashmir from groups associated with al Qaeda and bin Laden, and then return to China where theycarry out violent attacks on members of Chinas Han majority.
Chinas security is further threatened by the networks of Muslims separatists locatedoutside China. Many of the Uighurs have received some form of military training from the states surrounding China. During the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, Muslims from China trained in Pakistan to join the Mujaheddin. This training has given agents of Muslim fundamentalism the training and experience to penetrate major centres like Beijing to commit acts of terrorism such as an attempt to interfere with the National Peoples Congress.Beijings constant denial and cover up of the problem suggests that many other acts of terrorism, possibly attributable to the Muslim extremists, are given dubious explanations.Consequently, Beijing has used all means available to enforce its communist authoritywithin its domestic borders. The resulting campaign has turned up examples in regionslike Aksu where, between July and December 2001 Chinese authorities destroyed78 violent terrorist groups, captured 768 suspects, caught 153 violent terrorists andcracked 633 criminal cases. Additionally they seized 908 illegalguns and nearly3,000 kg of explosives from separatists and extremist religious elements.14In an effort to reduce the Muslim threat in Xinjiang, Beijing has pursued three keypolicies. The first is cultural assimilation by continuously increasing the numbers of Han Chinese in the area. The second is the complete repression of Islamic culture. This hasincluded the closing of mosques, banning the reading of the Koran, the prevention ofdemonstrations, and the use of violence, intimidation and death sentences. The third policy is to prevent other states from supporting the Uighurs.

				| Even a payout to Rapier and Hank won't quite justify the assumption made here about why someone carried out the bombing. Even less so the title of the thread. | |

				| August 09, 2005 Suicide Bomber Blows Up Bus in China: Government Covers Up (UPDATED)

Bloggers from China are reporting that a suicide bomber has blown up a bus in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, at around 2:30pm, August 8th. According to Peacehall.com, police have confiscated the cameras of those who took pictures.
I first learned of this from Aaron at Hagganah Internet.

I agree, and I don't doubt for a second that this was an Islamist attack and that the Chinese are spinning it.

What I want to know is why you guys feel the need to escalate the betting? C'mon, there's such a thing as a friendly wager, so y'know, no one gets their feelings hurt. It's like playing poker with change.

				| Clearly due to Chinese gov't coverup, M.O.S. will be unable to prove that Mr. suicide bomber was merely pis*ed at his jail sntence. Thus..$40 to me by default- unable to back up his assertion. | |
