Yep, best thread ever. You may want to bookmark this one.

I know three places that look like Star Wars and I'll put one up now. This is the Matenadaran in Yerevan, Armenia. Those stone guys would fit in perfectly in front of the Jedi temple:

There is no "Jedi Temple" in Star Wars... unless you mean those 3 cheap basically-fan-fiction flicks they made in the past couple years.

My home town in Maine occasionally looks like Hoth, and my mother's flock of sheep can resemble ton-tons if I squint just right... but I was never caught by a snow monster.

Oh, that reminds me, I'm envious of Ewan McGregor.

Hatshepsut[sp] Temple just down the road from the Valley of the Kings, near Luxor Egypt.
