Is it just me or when passing thru those little tiny farming communities up in the (away from soeul) hillsides do other people also get flashbacks of the Ewok villages in early starwars?
Not exactly sure why (can't quite put my finger on it) but it might have something to do those tiny little hunched halmonies roosting up on the square table things under trees and the equally tiny little cubby hole dwellings.... I ride thru one of these places when taking a short cut to the coast and for whatever reason I'm always half-expecting to be stopped by an empirical storm trooper... Mind you...whenever i pass, residents are probably equally amazed by me, and any starwars buffs among them may think they are watching a biking Chewbacca.... |

Huh? I really haven't been anywhere that looks like Star Wars. However, if I did, I'd airbrush out the "CGtalk.com" logo from the bottom right corner. |

Huh? Who said anything about being anywhere?
None of those pics are mine, and I've never been to Dubai nor Barcelona.
You can't think of a place or a building that might fit the bill and then google an image of it? Nowhere in Taiwan or China fits the bill? No building? No landscape? |

And here's the last of the ones I had prepared, the desert town of Tataouine in Tunisia:
