I was looking through a forum on silat. I came across this discussion, now for those who have not read the protestant bible, none of the following appears in it. This will probably mean that neither side can truly understand the other if they are coming from 2 different places to 2 ends both different, both using a map they call the same. Anyway read the following, I am interested in hearing others opinions.

One:
The following events took place in the area around Damascus for this was where Adam had settled with his sons. Up to that time nobody had died on earth.
Then SATAN came to Cain to teach him how to do this evil (Satan is never far away when it comes to that) and he assumed the human form. He came before Cain and in his hand held a slingshot. Picking up some stones, he flung them at the birds in the air until they fell bleeding from the skies. Aha thought Cain, that is how it is done, and he went to the place where his brother was sleeping. He picked up a big boulder and hit Abel on the head with it until he died. This was the first kill on earth..!
Wasnt this could be regarded THE FIRST OFFENCE TECHNIQUE AND ENMITY BETWEEN MANKIND ON EARTH? WASNT THIS THE OUTCOME OF IBLIS WHO REFUSED TO PROSTRATE TO ADAM? - Al-Araf (The Heights [or The Wall with Elevations]) 7:12, 14-17
Example Two:
One day when he had laid down the corpse to rest, confused and full of regrets, the Lord (Allah SWT) showed him two crows. One of these crows killed the other by pecking on its head, then it began scaping and digging in the earth until it had created a hollow big enough to lay the body in. Cain was watching the crow and finally he understood. He dug a grave for his brother and laid him to rest in it. Then he went to marry Abels sister.

SO WHAT IS ITS REALITY (Hakikat)?
The Creator (Allah SWT) is the first and man is the second creator: understand this phrase carefully! |
The point I am trying to make is that both claim to have knowledge from the time of Adam, both using 2 different stories. No w one finds rest in ones actions (it appears) the other is condemed and judged for doing evil and then punished. If both forms of religion use the same belief but learn 2 different lessons from it, maybe we are lacking a real knowledge of each other. I wonder how that will change.
The above quote is only one mans quote using points to support his argument, but I don't understand where he gets his info from and why he feels that it is truth. Maybe I will never understand. |
