Hey everyone,

Those of you travelling to Canada or the US using Northwest airlines should call your agents or the company as it looks as if there will be a mechanics strike starting at midnight on friday (19th of august).

NW says that the strike will not impact is schedule. This is probably just an attempt to keep people from switching airlines. Don't trust them.

Ahhh....airline mechanics are over rated. Dont need em. We have em now and still had three major crashes in a weeks time.

The reports on the news Saturday night said that so far the strike had not affected NW's flight schedule. But a call wouldn't hurt.

Three tires bursting upon impact on the runway and smoke in the cabin of another has nothing to do with the mechanics... Rolling Eyes
