Does anyone have any idea if it is possible to get a pill here with a chemical composition similar to American pills Demulen, Zovia, or Ortho-Novum? Any other pills (even ortho-tri-cyclen) tend to make my skin break out.
Thanks |

If all else fails, there are online pharmacies where you can order them |

Yeah, I had heard I could get pills here without a prescription and was trying to avoid the experience of a Korean gynecologist if possible.
I think I need an actual prescrip to order from an on-line pharmacy, right?
What I need is a pill that has more estrogen than the average pill. |

If you do a search and use my name, you'll find a list of all the birth control pills available in Korea. |

You don't have to go to a gynaecologist. And you don't need a prescription either. Just go to the pharmacist and ask for the name you want. You work near Samsung, right? Go to Coex mall. There is a pharmacy near Linko's that has different ones in there. It is also frequented by a lot of foreigners so you might have luck. Otherwise go to Euljiro 3 ga (I forget which subway line) and walk towards CheongGyeCheon stream thingy. There are a lot of pharmacies in that area, wholesalers, you should be able to find some there. Just write down the name on some paper, because they probably won't understand otherwise and will just tell you they don't have any. Do you have a box with you? Take it in so they can see.
Also look up the drug on the internet and see if you can find other names for it, particularly the names used in Korea.
Failing all that, go to your local doctor and he will have a drug book that lists all the drug names and their main ingredients. He can find a similar one for you available in Korea. |

I was on the BCpill called Diane-35 and it one of the strongest ones out there. I remember it being about 11,000W each package. I never had bad side effects. It is a little more than the others, but since it was what I was taking in Canada I wasn't going to take something else.... |
