Sure, it often works well.

What DOESN'T work is THIS:

http://kvan.onlinestoragesolution.com/miscellaneous/AmericanBandStand.wmv

He looks so stiff, VERY unhappy to be "fish" singing for AmeriKan Bandstand's "Dick" Clark.

You go ahead if you want. Me, personally, i simply can't bear to watch it again ... Rolling Eyes

Here's something a little more ... "soulful" ...

My all-time favorite artist.

I've met him twice and the famous people rule applies....Never meet your heroes.

His music rules though. Even if his personality is changeable. I've heard he can be very funny and erudite when he wants to be. My uncle in Ireland worked with him on many occasions.

My favorite photo on my favorite album.

Van, the poet/mystic....

My brother went to see him in cork a while back. He is a big vm fan but he (and everyone else) were fairly disappointed.

VM came on, sang about three songs, then went back stage for a cigarette while the whole crowd were just standing around wondering whether he'd walked off stage permanently or what.

He said Nick Cage rocked though...
