Currently, I work for a public high school. I have heard that university jobs pay better and you get more time off. I would like to know how to locate these type of jobs. Is there a certain website that deals specifically with university job placement? Also, what has been your experience in working with university students? How does it compare to a public high school?

I didn't find my job
My job effectively found me.

and they liked me so much that they refused to let me quit to take a lower paying job, inspite that I found a person who had better credentials I had.

Alot of these uni jobs are given to people who know other people who are connected to the uni.

Or if you have exceptional qualifications that make you stand out among your peers.

and start at a little known college, either inside or outside of Seoul to get the experience you need to land a better uni job.

Not all uni jobs are the same
- some are just glorified hakwons that are situated on campus and open to people on the outside.

- some offer very low pay ( Ex. Soongsil Uni.; 1.6 million for a 12 hour week) and because they have camps, their vacation time is also limited

- And also, some might have the "office hours" requirement that you stay in the office for a certain amount of time.

You have to look closely at these jobs in the same way that you apply for a hakwon job.
