We have a "technical" limit of 30, but now and then they sneak in a couple of extra. These are both the required freshman English classes and the "all university" classes (higher level....in theory!!). 30 is manageable, but pair/group work is a must!
We also have "institute" type classes that have a maximum of 18...but I've never taught one where everyone showed up...or stayed for the whole semester. |
