The same group of twelve for how many weeks? |
I have each group of kids for one week - then won't see them again. |
It sounds sort of like perma-camp. I think it could be fun, but if you got a bad one for a week, it would be a damned long week! |

Exactly. It's a permanent English 'Immersion' Camp/Village located on the grounds a high school. Kids from one grade in an elementary or middle school in the 'gun' are bused in every day for a week. So far, I've had only one elementary class. I've found there is a world of difference between them and the middle school kids. My learning curve was very steep with the elementary class and those five days were taxing (but not 'bad'). If I truely do get a bad class, it will be a "damned long week"; but also, they'll be gone on Friday. |

At our camp I always insist on the elementary kids, the middle schoolers have too much attitude. And they are exhausting- three weeks twice a year is more than enough.
(P.S., not to be a didactic B'ch, but you should work on your spelling. I tell you this as a bad speller myself. I live with a dictionary by my computer, and kick myself when I don't consult it enough. ) |

If I had an English version of 'Word', I'd write all my posts on it then 'copy and paste' them to the board. |

The funniest thing happened yesterday, I was complaining about having a Korean version of word, so one of my co-teachers got a burnt copy for me. I was very happy. |

I don't know where you live, but I have heard that close to the U.S. bases, the computer stores have surprisingly inexpensive versions of both the Microsoft English operating and Office (which has Word). |

| No, no, no. I am innocent. I did not ask for such a copy but was given one just the same. They installed it on my computer while I wasnt there. Do you think I should get it removed? |

Doesn't that button forward things directly to Bill Gates?
Someone had better clean out his computer fast. We really cannot countenance illegal, immoral behavior here on Dave's.
I do believe that possession of stolen goods is a prosecutable crime. |

| I asked my head teacher and she said that it was not a copywrite problem as the school pays for a legal version of msoffice for every computer at my school. They are just putting an english version on instead of a korean one. They are using their Korean key code and everything. I feel relieved and glad that you guys care enough to help me feel morally pure with all my decisions and going ons during the day. Thanks again. |
