Preston Michael Spears Federline, huh?
She had a planned caesarian to avoid the pain of childbirth. I've heard that caesarians themselves are painful in their own way (the aftermath and recovery). Some confirmation on this?
I could have done without the photo in Tzechuk's link. |

Well, I had one almost a year ago and am fully recovered. IMHO the thinner you are, the less time it takes to recover because they cut through muscles and fat in the stomach, the less of that, the less time it takes to heal. THey also staple you up where the cut was made and those are removed right before you leave the hospital. THe actual birth was not painful since i was all numbed up before the surgery, afterwards was uncomfortable but not too bad. It hurt to bend over and pick things up for a while but that went away. I know another woman who had a c-section around the same time as me and her incision burst , got infected, and the woman was put on bedrest for 6 weeks after the baby was born. NOT a fun experience for her. My c-section was not "planned" so i felt extremely ignorant going into the surgery because of an emergency situation not knowing exactly what to expect but all turned out fine:) |
