| because I can't meet my boyfriend and have a date with him Sunday. He has to be with his family....His friend gets married Sunday morning and then he has to go to the temple with his Mom...-_- At least I can go to his bar Friday night since he's a bartender. That's the joy of seeing a bartender...hehehe |

Perhaps you can go on a picnic with a couple of friends in the mountains or in the forest---or even by yourself----fresh air works wonders for boredom and depression.
Also,if your boyfriend has no qualms about leaving you alone on a holiday(and actually prefers being with his Mom),why don't you do the same and go way by yourself(or with some friends) to Jeju island,or something?
Sounds like it's time timeto leave that boyfriend of yours for good and to empower yourself! |

| Today one of my friends said she will go to her boyfriend's home for Chuseok and she said mine must not care about me since he's not taking me to his house. Other Korean gals are telling me not to worry that it means nothing. One Korean teacher I work with saidher husband didn't take her to his home for a holiday until after they were married. But, I'm still sad...very sad...He took me to his family's home in May so why not Sunday for Chuseok? |

Maybe,it's true that it doesn't mean anything that he didn't invite you for Chuseok.Maybe Chuseok is strictly for families only? After all,you're not family yet.
As I said before,why don't you make your own plans? Sometimes doing things on your own is even more interesting---you get to do the things that you like. |

It is for families only. Don't worry about it. If you ever marry him you will be wishing for the day that you did not have to go to his parent's house. I love the fact that I work every major holiday. Gets me out of so much boooooooooooooooring stuff.

And the added bonus of Chusok, like most other Korean holidays, is that as a woman Princess can look forward to hours of cooking and cleaning on the holidays once she marries her bartender. |
