i know, i love everything about it. the mustache, the jacket draped over the shoulders, the deliberate way he walks into the room and then BOOM he just blows her away. hahaha. and it seems like he must have kicked her hard in real life. so funny. but where is it from?? |

Just before I left the US in April, I noticed a movie in theaters called "Ong-Bak" -- it was a sort of kung fu movie from Thailand, my first ever Thai movie. I recommend it - five stars. The Muay Thai fighting was unbelievable. The film wasn't slowed down like it is in your typical Jackie Chan flick (though some of the cooler stunts had replays from multiple angles!). Also the music and special effects were cheesy, I guess you'd say low-budget, but that gave the movie an exotic and honest feel.
I mention it because the animation reminds me of one scene. The movie had had a lot of fighting and action with special effects and heart pounding music up to this point. But this one scene was calm and peaceful... three bad guys were in the forest guarding a cave entrance. Suddenly, with no musical accompaniment, the hero sprints into the middle of them and floors the three of them with swift kicks and punches. Just like that. Wham, bam. |

My word! I had no idea that western grannies could enjoy such wonderful attention from their menfolk too. What a handsome stud he is! I do like a man with Cuban heels.
Kontengi, if that's you in the video, call me. |
